Born and raised in Puerto Rico, G., ever since she was a child had an affinity for the art world. Later on it developed into a passion that led her to pursue a BFA in Fibers at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Being a very hands-on person has led to the exploration of many different processes and disciplines while maintaining a sustainable mindset including: jewelry design, furniture design, refurbishing, art installations and murals. As a result of this, a lot of her work is designed as a mode of embellishment for a space or the body. Her goal is to find that connection between what is considered art and what is thought to be a simple product. To find the link between the beautiful and the utilitarian while keeping a conscious and socially empowering  mindset.
